Filipino beauty queens set as pageant judges in Vietnam

The 2017 Miss Earth Karen Ibasco and 2022 Miss Global Shane Tormes will visit the country, and join a jury including Huynh Ngoc Minh, vice president of Southeast Asian Fitness Federation; designer Tuyet Le; 2018 Miss Tourism World Ambassador Phan Thi Mo; the 2012 Miss Ocean Vietnam Dang Thu Thao; and 2018 Man of The World winner Cao Xuan Tai.

Tormes, 31, made her name when she won the 2022 Miss Global pageant in Bali, Indonesia. The Filipino beauty impressed people with her beautiful figure and friendly smile. She is currently working in the music and fashion industry in the Philippines.

Ibasco, 32, represented the Philippines at the 2017 Miss Earth pageant, winning the title. She works at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Manila.

This year’s Miss and Mister Fitness Supermodel World pageant will be held in the beach town of Mui Ne in Binh Thuan Province from May 12-22.

Contestants from all over the world are coming to Vietnam in what is the first time that the country will host the global pageant.

The preliminary round was held online between January and March.
