Blackpink’s Lisa unexpectedly found comfort and ease during her visit to Vietnam last year, according to her friend, Thai actress Diana Flipo.
Initially, they thought they had to be extremely cautious in Vietnam, but Lisa felt “more chill” than she thought she would, Diana Flipo said in her recent interview with Thai news outlet Daily News.

Diana Flipo speculated that given Lisa’s unconventional childhood – having worked since she was a child – she longs for ordinary experiences, which the two friends were able to have together as somewhat more anonymous travelers in Vietnam.
“Lisa didn’t have any bodyguards with her, just us five female friends. Lisa mentioned she had never gone on a trip and gone shopping just with friends like this before,” Diana Flipo recounted.
Diana Flipo also conveyed a message to Lisa’s fans, urging respect for her privacy. She emphasized that immediate sharing of photos online can attract crowds, hindering Lisa from leading a normal life. Diana Flipo said: “If you love her, please give her space. If you want to post, do so three hours later.”

In the same interview, the actress also shared about her enduring friendship with Lisa.
They became acquainted through Lisa’s vocal coach in Thailand, developing a close bond before Blackpink’s debut in 2016. Diana Flipo described Lisa as a lovely and kind person, noting that her personality has remained unchanged despite the global fame she achieved with girl group sensation Blackpink.
Born Pranpriya Manoban in Thailand, Lisa, 27, made her debut with the South Korean girl group Blackpink in 2016. She launched a simultaneous solo career in 2021 with the release of her album “Lalisa.”
The star has established her name in the fashion industry as a global ambassador for various luxury brands, including Celine and Bulgari.
She has also made history as the first K-pop artist to have a song surpass 1 billion streams on Spotify and to hit 100 million followers on Instagram.
Diana Flipo, born in 1994, is a Thai actress and model of half Thai and half French descent. She was exclusively associated with Channel 3 (CH3), appearing in television series such as “Samee Tee Tra” in 2014, “Tarm Ruk Keun Jai” in 2015, and “Luerd Ruk Toranong” in 2016, until she transitioned to freelance acting in 2022.
