VnExpress Marathon Quy Nhon should be ‘iconic event’ of Binh Dinh

“It is necessary to make VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon an iconic event of Binh Dinh Province to attract athletes and tourists,” Giang said at a meeting on October 20 to review VM Quy Nhon 2022 and prepare for the next tounament.

According to the provincial representative, three seasons of VM Quy Nhon had left a strong impression, and made Quy Nhon beach town a favorite destination every summer for 10,000 athletes and tourists. The event has helped to strongly promote Binh Dinh culture to tourists from all over the world.

The tournament also inspired local people to become runners. Many running groups recorded a major increase in the number of members from a few dozen people in the first season to thousands in 2022.

VM Quy Nhon 2022 on June 12 attracted 10,000 runners, twice the numbers in 2019 and 2020. The participants appreciated professional organization, and good traffic divergence of VM Quy Nhon. The running route was completely closed during the marathon, so athletes’ safety was guaranteed.

To cooperate with the organizers, Binh Dinh will launch many special, attractive tourism programs. One plan is to increase the capacity, ensure accommodation, transportation, and develope new tours, new experiences for tourists.

VnExpress Marathon Sparkling Quy Nhon is the oldest race in the VM system. Every summer, thousands of runners and tens of thousands of tourists gathered in the coastal city to take part in the event. Many individuals and families have attended three seasons of VM Quy Nhon in a row.

Beside taking part in VM Quy Nhon, runners also spent time exploring local tourism sites. Ky Co, Eo Gio, Hon Kho are attractive destinations in Quy Nhon.
