Gold ring price gained 0.41% to VND61.95 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.
Globally, gold prices have shown a slight but consistent positive trend over the past three days, continuing into Friday, according to financial data platform FXStreet.
From a technical perspective, failure to find acceptance above the $2,040 supply zone warrants some caution for bullish traders.
However, the momentum is limited, and prices are still below the peak reached one and a half weeks ago.
