Child models catwalk in downtown HCMC

Child and professional models strode the runway, a pier more than 120 meters long, last Sunday, while wearing designs from different collections created by Ho.
The ‘Walking On The River Fashion Show’ is part of the ‘Have An Appointment With Saigon’ – a free street music event promoting tourism in HCMC that opens free to the public every month.

Models wear designs from the ‘Ca Chep Hoa Rong’ (Carp Turns Into A Dragon) collection, which include a series of ao dai made from silk and brocade using hand embroidery and hand-sewing techniques.

The designer incorporated colorful images of the fish and sky across her designs, adding texture to the traditional kids attire.

Bella Vu, Miss Eco Teen International 2021, dons outfits from the ‘ReJeans’ collection, in which Ho reused old clothes to create a new design with a youthful style.

Child actress Ngan Chi also participated in the fashion show after she had wrapped up the school year.

The program also creates opportunities for underprivileged students who are passionate about art to step onto the stage.
Ho donated costumes to these children after the show.
