Vietnamese midfielder wins high rating in French Ligue 2 game

Hai played 33 minutes for Pau FC against Guingamp in the opening match of the French second division league.

His score was the second highest of all Pau FC players in the game, following striker Mons Bassouamina with seven points.

Hai joined the game as a substitute in the 60th minute when Pau were trailing hosts Guingamp 0-4.

He did not have many opportunities to showcase his skills, but showed great accuracy whenever he touched the ball, including six times in passes and two times in crosses.

He also created two chances from set-pieces. The first was a low corner on the right wing in the 77th minute for midfielder Jean Ruiz and the second in the 81st minute when he passed the ball from a free kick for Jean Ruiz to head the ball.

Pau FC had only 32 percent ball control in the match. Of 10 shots launched, five were on the goal, but they failed to score. In contrast, Guingamp were more effective when sending the ball on target, their 11 shots having an accuracy rate of 89 percent.

The match ended in a 0-4 loss for Pau FC.

Guingamp midfielder Jules Gaudin was the best player in the match with a score of 8.8.
