Woman killed in suspected murder-suicide near Hanoi mall

Police in the district reported that both a man and a woman were discovered unconscious in a pool of blood outside a mall on Tran Duy Hung Street, according to Dan Tri.

Eyewitnesses stated that the two had engaged in a heated argument before the man, believed to be the woman’s lover, allegedly stabbed her with a knife. Following the attack, the man reportedly attempted to take his own life, Vietnamnet reported.

The woman succumbed to her injuries at the scene, while the man was rushed to a hospital.

Authorities have launched an investigation.
