VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight unveils shirt designs

VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight 2022 keeps its iconic color pink but switches from fuchsia shade to coral pink. The shirt features black diagonal stripes inspired by the stripes on the tiger (this year’s zodiac animal), a metaphor for the strength and confidence of runners. The official shirt is commented to exude personality and can make runners stand out when running in the middle of the night.

Runners testing the route on October 13 were the first to experience the new marathon shirt. The coral pink stood out under the night light. The shirt’s fabric allows heat dissipation and sweat absorption.

Runners in the 5km and 10km distances will receive a T-shirt, while singlets are for runners of 21km and 42km distances. Running groups will have their group’s logo printed on the back of the shirts.

The organizer also introduced T-shirt for 21km finishers and and windbreakers full marathon finishers. The two designs are also in pink and black colors, but more black. The windbreaker is a typical item of VM Hanoi midnight as it suits the cold weather and has become an item for runners to show off their achievements.

“The black-pink tone shows the connection and unity spirit. This also represents the signature of the tournament that the team prize category appeared for the first time at the VnExpress Marathon system. We hope with this shirt, runners will have a brilliant experience at VM’s last tournament in 2022,” the organizer said.

VnExpress Marathon Hanoi Midnight will take place on the night of November 26 and the early morning of November 27. The tournament was organized by VnExpress newspaper in collaboration with the Hanoi People’s Committee.

VM Hanoi Midnight 2022 aims to bring special experience for runners with a route running through iconic streets of the capital, and a medal that evokes a sense of nostalgia with postage stamp design.

There will be 10 medical stations and 11 water stations to support runners along the route. About 1,000 volunteers will help with distributing race-kits, security, traffic diversion and other activities.
