Vietnamese volleyball beauty off to smooth start in Thailand

Trinh, who was voted Miss of the 2023 Volleyball Vietnam League, and Oanh joined Chonburi E-Tech to compete in the second phase of the 2023 Women’s Volleyball Thailand League. The Vietnamese duo went to Thailand on Dec. 12 and made their debut on Sunday against 3BB Nakornnont. Trinh wore her familiar number 11 jersey while Oanh chose number 22.

Since they had just joined the team, Trinh and Oanh did not play from the beginning. After Chonburi E-Tech won 25-17 in the first half, coach Wilavan Apinyapong decided to put the Vietnamese rookies on.

Trinh had a pretty good debut, scoring five points and assisting her teammates in defense. Oanh made many good passes, helping Pleumjit Thinkaow score the most points in this match with 18. Chonburi E-Tech easily won 3-0 overall.

After the match, Trinh, 22, and Oanh, 25 received many compliments and congratulations from Thai fans on Chonburi E-Tech’s fanpage. In the next match, Chonburi E-Tech will meet Khon Kaen Star on Jan. 7.

Trinh is currently one of the Vietnamese volleyball players with the largest fan base in the country and Southeast Asia.
