The three localities with the highest numbers of cases are Hanoi with 10,252 cases, Bac Giang with 3,997 cases and Yen Bai with 3,977 cases.

48 deaths were added to the national database on Sunday. The total number of deaths so far is 42,306, accounting for 0.5 percent of all infections.

Vietnam has given over 205 million Covid-19 vaccine shots in total.

76.8 million people have been fully vaccinated, accounting for 79.6 percent of the population. 48.7 million people have received their third shots, accounting for 50.4 percent of the population.
