Budget carrier Vietjet has restarted its direct services from beach towns Da Nang and Phu Quoc to Hong Kong as tourism rebounds.
There are three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays on the Phu Quoc-Hong Kong route, and a one-way fare starts at VND90,000 ($3.80).
There are four weekly flights between Da Nang and Hong Kong on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays with fares from VND70,000.
Phu Quoc, an island off southern Vietnam, and Da Nang in the central region are popular tourist destinations, famous for their long, sandy beaches and luxury resorts.
In the first half of this year Vietnam received more than 5.5 million visitors, 69% of this year’s eight-million target.
