A video showing the wedding celebration of Vidhi Popley, daughter of Indian jewelry businessman Dilip Popley, aboard a private Boeing 747 aircraft has gone viral on social media.
The video showing a group of guests dancing to a popular Hindi track as part of the wedding celebration held on November 24 on the three-hour flight from Dubai to Oman has reached over 640,000 views on X, formerly Twitter, as of Sunday.
In the video, bride Vidhi and her groom Hridesh Sainani thanked their families for creating an unforgettable wedding experience.
Their wedding ceremony was attended by 350 guests, The Economic Times reported.
The groom was quoted as saying in the video that he was happy to marry his “high school sweetheart” and thanked his father-in-law and father for the ceremony, according to Indian Express.
The father of the bride, Dilip, is a businessman who made headlines in 1994 after he married his partner onboard an Air India flight.
The Popley family runs and operates a network of jewelry and diamond outlets in the UAE and India.
