ToCoToCo’s jasmine green tea showcases dedication to raw material selection, marinating incense process, and brand efforts to attract both domestic and international customers.
Vietnamese jasmine green tea is a fragrant blend, which is the combination of local high-quality green tea leaves and fresh jasmine flowers.
Current cups of jasmine green tea are the results of the R&D team’s brainstorming to look for high-quality material sources in collaboration with an elaborate marinating process.
Research and survey to meet market needs
According to Van Le, Chief Marketing Officer at ToCoToCo, the R&D’s team is considered one of the keys to the brand’s success.
They are in charge of finding new drinks that keep up with trends and simultaneously studying new appearances and the benefits of materials.
In addition, they must also go pioneering in studying the demand of each group of customers to have ideas to create drinks for target customers.

To have accurate insight results, ToCoToCo collected data from several sources, including the benefits of materials, an in-depth view of young customers about their behaviors, their favorite drinks, and social listening research.
The R&D experts of ToCoToCo embarked on researching the organic jasmine green tea.
During the process of studying a new look for jasmine green tea, to avoid familiarity to the point of boredom of customers, R&D experts compared values of the old formula to the new formula.
“If the improved formula still retains the value of the product from the quality of ingredients and nutritional value but the taste is better, then this change deserves to be brought to customers with a completely new look,” said Van Le.
Meticulousness of marinating incense
The deployment and exploitation of the quintessence of Vietnamese agricultural product quality is reflected in the selection of raw material suppliers.
The brand’s team of experts has been patient in searching for raw material sources ranging from jasmine green tea grown in Moc Chau tea fields at an altitude of over 1,000 m, where there are cool, foggy mountainous areas with high humidity.
Green tea harvested here is appreciated for its excellent quality and flavor.

After selecting green tea with excellent quality and flavor, the process of marinating incense is an art with the traditional manual method without adding any chemicals or additives.
Jasmine flowers are picked at two time slots, except on rainy days. At that time, their buds are still closed, keeping the perfect scent. The flowers are kept cool until nightfall. This meticulousness helps to keep the best scent and quality of jasmine flowers.
The process of marinating incense usually begins when it is dark. Artisans will pour a layer of tea and then a layer of flowers on the bamboo pot.
The time for incubating the flowers can be 8-12 hours, depending on the secret of each house’s own tea-making.
When the tea has absorbed the first flower scent, it is sieved to remove the old flowers and add a new layer of flowers. They will repeat this incubation of the flowers about four times with a total of 40 hours to have the best scent.
Tea also absorbs moisture from fresh jasmine flowers, so finally, tea with enough flower flavor will be put into drying.
Jasmine green tea has a unique flavor with the sweetness of jasmine and bitterness of tea, creating a refreshing and relaxing feeling for customers.

Commitments in utilising ingredients from Vietnamese agricultural products
ToCoToCo’s consistency in utilizing ingredients from Vietnamese agricultural products, especially green tea, which is a core material with clear origins, contributed to changing the unsympathetic mindset of many consumers about milk tea ingredients in the domestic market.
The brand supplies raw materials that meet ISO 22000 standards, which provide specific requirements for a food safety management system that will enhance the ability to consistently deliver products and services that meet consumers, as well as statutory and regulatory demands.
“The consistency in using the traditional incense margination method for jasmine green tea to create cups of tea with excellent flavor and quality show that ToCoToCo considers the quality of drinks is the core value of the brand,” Van said. “Enjoying a cup of jasmine green tea with meticulous incense margination will help customers feel the peculiarity of Vietnamese agricultural products.”
In addition, the brand has also extended its store system to reach more customers.
ToCoToCo wishes to continue to bring delicious drinks from Vietnamese agricultural products to customers in all parts of the country and beyond, fulfilling the goal of promoting and introducing the quality of Vietnamese agricultural products.
It has grown dramatically, with nearly 1,000 stores, becoming one of the fastest-growing milk tea brands and processing the largest number of stores in the country. ToCoToCo has also expanded its influence internationally, opening stores in Australia, Japan, and the U.S.
