Thief snatches reporter’s camera in less than a second

While sitting in front of an apartment building in Quang Vinh Ward of Bien Hoa Town, waiting to be picked up for work, the reporter who works for Dong Nai TV was approached by a motorbike driver as showed in security camera footage.

In less than a second, the driver who was wearing a black jacket snatched the report’s bag, which held a camera worth several hundred million dong (VND100 million = $4,372).

The reporter chased after the thief but failed to catch him.

The apartment’s guard said he had seen the man in black wandering in front of the building many times.

Bien Hoa police are extracting footage from the security camera to find him.
