South Korean celebrities to promote Vietnamese tourism


South Korean film star Cha Tae-huyn and many other celebrities are set to visit Vietnam in March for a program to promote Vietnamese tourism and culture.

Coming with Cha are rapper Eun Ji-won, model Choi Sora, singer and actor Young Tak, musician and actor Lee Jung-shin, former pro baseball player Lee Dae-ho and entertainment mogul Lee Kyung-kyu, reported Thanh Nien Newspaper.

The South Korean celebrities will visit Hanoi and Hai Phong. This can be a reality TV show to promote the culture, tourist sites and cuisines of Vietnam through different activities while recording their experiences during their trip here.

Cha is a familiar face to the Vietnamese audience, as he has starred in many famous movies and series including “My Sassy Girl” “Scandal Makers,” “The Grand Heist,” “Police University” and his latest film, “Brain Works.”

The 46-year-old actor first came to Vietnam in 2009 to promote his film “Scandal Makers” and to attend the Vietnam Film Festival.

Another notable name is musician and actor Lee Jung-shin, who is famous for series like “The Girl Who Sees Scents,” “Cinderella and the Four Knights,” “Seoyoung, My Daughter” and “Shooting Stars.”, while singer Young Tak is a trot icon, a genre of South Korean traditional pop music.
