Masanori Takahashi, better known under the pseudonym Kitaro, was born in 1953 in Toyohashi City, Japan.

In 1972, he became acquainted with synthesizers and his musical career took off.

A recording contract with American label Geffen Records signed in 1986 helped Kitaro’s music tap into the U.S. market, where he sold more than 10 million albums in a year.

The Japanese musician is considered one of the top people who laid the foundation for New Age music. His music celebrates love, nature, peace and the Asian spirit.

Kitaro has won much international acclaim during his career, including a Golden Globe Award for the “Heaven & Earth” soundtrack and a Grammy for Best New Age Album “Thinking of You.”

A prolific artist, Kitaro has recorded dozens of albums which have sold millions of copies worldwide, such as Silver Cloud in 1986, The Light of the Spirit in 1987, and Dream in 1992, which was recorded with Jon Anderson. The Japanese musician pursues the idea of uniting popular, traditional, and classical music, whilst also seeking to spread a message of peace and universality through compositions that serve to relax the mind.

Born in 1984, Ha Anh Tuan rose to fame after finishing in the Top 3 of a local singing competition in 2006. Three of his albums have been nominated for Vietnam’s prestigious Dedication Music Awards.
