Jolin Tsai, Taiwan’s most successful singer, wore an ao dai and conical hat during her visit to the ancient town of Hoi An.
Tsai posted photos of her trip to Vietnam on her Instagram on Thursday. She visited attractions in Da Nang and Hoi An with her family and bought a floral ao dai to wear on the trip.
Many fans complimented Tsai’s look. One user said: “Vietnamese style fits you really well.”
Another wrote: “Just in time for a dance to See Tinh again.”
In early May, Tsai uploaded a video of her dancing to “See Tinh,” a song by Vietnamese singer Hoang Thuy Linh that went viral in many Asian countries.

Tsai, 43, has been dubbed the “Queen of C-Pop” and is considered one of the most influential artists in Chinese pop culture. She’s credited as a key figure in mainstream dance-pop music in China.
“See Tinh” is the second single from Hoang Thuy Linh’s fourth studio album “LINK,” released in February 2022. The music for the dance-pop anthem was inspired by the culture of the Mekong Delta region.
Earlier this year, the song went viral in many countries including China, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and Thailand, with many people and celebrities doing dance covers of the tune.
