Paris Hilton wears Vietnamese designer’s dress for magazine photoshoot

American media personality and socialite Paris Hilton wore a dress made by Vietnamese designer Le Thanh Hoa for Saturday, a magazine published by British newspaper The Guardian.

In an issue of Saturday published on Monday, the 42-year-old media star dazzled in a hexagon mesh chiffon dress with a Tara crystal necklace.

The design is from Hoa’s “Sa Vu” collection and uses fabric layering techniques to increase puffiness and bring eye-catching visual effects. It is inspired by the desert cobra’s vitality and resilience, according to the designer.

Hilton also wore a pink Moschino dress for the cover of the magazine and outfits made by other fashion houses.

For a cooking show for Netflix in 2021 another Vietnamese designer, Chung Thanh Phong, had made Hilton a sequined dress.

Paris Hilton is the great-granddaughter of Conrad Hilton, the founder of Hilton Hotels, and has since her teenage days attracted enormous public attention as a model, singer, actress, author, and TV personality. In the 2000s she was among the biggest stars in Hollywood.

In recent years she has become a DJ and entrepreneur in the beauty industry.

On Monday, American actress and singer Halle Bailey also wore a sequined dress with metallic silver flowers from the “Sa Vu” collection for Edition magazine.

The outfit reportedly took hours to make because each flower had to be sewn by hand. Hoa said Hilton and Bailey’s teams contacted him two months ago to make the outfits.

Bailey, 22, is among the youngest actors to play a Disney princess.

In the 2010s, she and her sister Chloe Bailey formed the R&B duo Chloe x Halle and achieved success with the 2020 album “Ungodly Hour.”

Bailey is currently in the public eye after playing princess Ariel in the movie “The Little Mermaid,” which hits theaters on May 26.
