Marvel star dons Cong Tri design on BAFTA red carpet

Atwell, who plays Captain America’s love interest Peggy Carter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, turned heads on the red carpet on Monday wearing the sheered white cropped top and a high-waisted black dress, along with radiant and classic red lipstick, Piferi heels and sophisticated use of Cartier jewelry.

The outfit belongs to Cong Tri’s 2022 Fall/Winter collection, which uses taffeta silk as the main material.

In this year’s BAFTA, Atwell presented the Best Original Screenplay award to director Martin McDonagh for “The Banshees of Inisherin.”

The 41-year-old British actress is best known for playing agent Peggy Carter, the love interest of Captain America (Chris Evans) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. She has starred in five Marvel movies and has won many fans for the role. Marvel decided to give Atwell her own series, “Marvel’s Agent Carter” in 2015.

Atwell’s next project will be “Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One,” the seventh installment in the “Mission: Impossible” film series.

Cong Tri, born in Da Nang in 1978, is a member of the Asian Fashion Association. He has created dresses for many A-list celebrities such as Beyonce, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Lopez, Charlize Theron, former U.S. First Lady Michelle Obama,Rose (BLACKPINK), and Rebecca Ferguson.
