Man City’s Kyle Walker calls himself ‘idiotic’ for cheating on wife

In an interview with U.K. newspaper The Sun, Walker opened up about his recent cheating scandal and admitted that he’s the only one to blame.

“What I’ve done is horrible and I take full responsibility,” Walker said.

“I made idiotic choices and idiotic decisions. I cannot begin to think or imagine what Annie is going through. I have tried to ask her but there’s pain and hurt.”

After Walker was exposed for fathering a second child with model Lauryn Goodman, he was kicked out of the family home in Chesire and the 33-year-old defender is living alone in a rented apartment nearby.

Kilner also announced that she and Walker have separated.

Walker met Kilner when he was 17.

The English national right-back also had a romantic relationship in 2019 with Goodman, who gave birth to their first child in April 2020.

After the incident, Kilner forgave him and the two tied the knot in 2022. Walker vowed to not contact Goodman except for financial arrangements. However, the two maintained contact without Kilner’s knowledge.

When Walker traveled to London for groin surgery in October 2022, he met Goodman again. He admitted to sleeping with her and getting her pregnant again.

Since joining Man City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, Walker has gone on to establish himself as one of the best right-backs of his generation. He has won five Premier Leagues, two FA Cups, four EFL Cups, two English Super Cups, one Champions League, one European Super Cup, and one Club World Cup. He also has 81 caps for England.
