Malaysian man uses forklift to remove inconsiderately parked cars

A Malaysian shopkeeper used a forklift to relocate three inconsiderately parked cars blocking his workshop entrance.

On Jan. 21, a roughly four-minute video was published on Hasan Al Razak’s TikTok account showing three cars that were parked at the entrance of a shop near Batu Caves in the state of Selangor.

In the video, he can be heard saying: “You are welcome to go to Batu Caves but please do not park in front of my workshop. I have a business to run.”

According to Singapore news outlet The Straits Times, he was referring to people visiting the nearby tourist attraction Batu Caves – the home to a Hindu shrine dedicated to the Hindu God of War. Thousands of tourists and Hindu devotees visit the cave and temple every day, with the numbers expected to rise to two million during the Thaipusam celebrations on January 25.

Left with no choice, Hasan got one of his workers to move the cars to the opposite side of the road, where other vehicles were parked with a forklift.

“This is the consequences of your actions. If there are dents all over your car, don’t get angry at me, okay?” he added.

The video quickly went viral, garnering nearly a hundred thousand of views and thousands of comments. The majority of netizens expressed their support for the shop owner’s action.

Several commenters mentioned they would consider adopting a similar approach, while others were eager to see the reactions of the car owners upon discovering their vehicles had been moved, reported Thai media outlet Sanook.
