KPT Group promotes greentech through corporate social responsibilities

In conjunction with World Environmental Day and KPT Day on June 5, KPT Group together with the People’s Committee of HCMC’s Can Gio District and the Nature and Environment Protection Association of HCMC (HANE) organizes an afforestation event at the Can Gio mangrove biosphere reserve to bring awareness to local communities and employees in preserving and protecting the world’s green lungs.

Tree planting is one of the company’s CSR (corporate social responsibilities) annual activities to create awareness on environmental issues.

Every year the company organizes a tree-planting trip with employees and their families, which also serves as a team building event.

KPT Group also reached out to work alongside HANE in providing support to the community of Can Gio, facilitating them with waste recycling and treatment via the distribution of certain products.

“As a greentech company, KPT promotes and educates environmental protection through our products, solutions and technologies. Our people always put environment protection as top priority during their daily business activities. We hope through our solutions and hard work, our next generation will have a good environment to live in,” said John Tay, CEO of KPT Group.

During this event, the group has supported students from low income families, funded the forest protection management board, and donated two water purifiers to Binh Khanh Primary School.

At the same time, KPT Group has also donated the company’s Ecoclean Microbial products to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in order to help local communities with composting and to resolve the odor pollution problems from daily waste.
