According to Sohu, Chan’s extended family resides in two luxurious apartments in Hong Kong’s Leighton Hill district. His late father, a property mogul, was once dubbed the “Wang Jianlin of Hong Kong,” while Chan himself was called the “Wang Sicong of Hong Kong.”
These nicknames highlight their wealth, as Chinese billionaire Wang Jianlin is the chairman of Dalian Wanda Group, China’s largest real estate development company, and Wang Sicong is his son.
Chan’s brother is reportedly involved in the shipping industry, and his sister runs a garment business with factories in Dubai.
The actor was educated at Yew Chung International School, one of Hong Kong’s most expensive and prestigious institutions, followed by St. Joseph’s Anglo-Chinese School, a boys’ school.
He is believed to own four luxury apartments, establishing himself as a “hidden real estate magnate” within the entertainment industry. His assets also include a collection of luxury cars, featuring several limited-edition models.
Chan, 39, debuted in the entertainment industry as a member of the Cantopop group Sun Boy’z in 2006. He left the group in 2008 to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut solo album that same year, and made his screen debut in 2009.
Since 2013, he has gradually shifted his career focus to mainland China.
