Gold prices hit 10-day low

Gold ring price went up 0.3% to VND64.05 million per tael. A tael equals 37.5 grams or 1.2 ounces.

Globally gold prices were little changed on Monday, as traders cautiously awaited fresh data on the U.S. economy and the Federal Reserve’s preferred inflation gauge due later this week, leading up to the central bank’s interest rate decision next week, Reuters reported.

Spot gold edged 0.1% lower to $2,026.39 per ounce.

U.S. gold futures fell 0.1% to $2,028.00.
