A man in central Vietnam’s Nghe An Province was fined VND11 million ($469.74) for erratic speeding on a highway.
Nghe An traffic police on Saturday said the unnamed 48-year-old man lives in Dien Chau District. Besides the fine, his license will also be revoked for two to four months.
On Aug. 24, the man had recklessly driven his car along a National Highway 7 section through Dien Chau District, frequently cutting in front of oncoming traffic.
His actions were caught on video by other drivers. The footage was eventually released on social media and sparked public backlash.
