British tourist praises Singaporeans as looking like models

The tourist, with the handle dom.dom2141, recently went on a holiday to Singapore and explored many of the city-state’s tourist attractions such as Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands and the CBD skyline.

“What nobody told me before I came to Singapore was that this city is model central. I’m not even kidding. Everyone looks like a model here,” he said in his video posted on July 3, attracting over 500,000 views.

Singapore is known for its cleanliness, low crime rate and strict laws with harsh fines, forcing locals and foreigners to comply with the rules to maintain public order.

Thanks to strict laws, Singapore has a reputation for being one of world’s safest and cleanest cities.

In another TikTok video posted on July 5, the tourist said Singapore was really beautiful and urged Britons not to miss the city state during their holiday in Southeast Asia.

“I cannot stress enough how much I love Singapore. If you’re considering Singapore, you need to visit. You won’t regret this. It’s mind-blowing,” the tourist said.

Previously, many foreign tourists were also surprised by the “countless number of warning signs and instructions” along streets in Singapore.

Last year, Singapore received around 13 million foreign tourists, and the figure is expected to rise to 15 million this year.
