The Star reported that Tse mentioned his aspiration at a press conference in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday, which marked his first visit to Malaysia since Jan. 2018, when he appeared on a cooking show.

“If the Malaysian government permits, I will personally climb to the top of the Petronas Twin (and) skydive from it,” he declared. ” I really hope that one day, my new movie will have a scene like this.”

The actor attributed his interest in the iconic towers to the late Scottish actor Sean Connery, who filmed at the location in the 1999 movie “Entrapment.”

Tse, 44, initially launched his career as a singer in 1996 before transitioning to acting. His most renowned works include “Metade Fumaca,” “New Police Story,” “The Stool Pigeon,” “Raging Fire,” and “The Proud Twins.”

He married Hong Kong actress Cecilia Cheung in 2006 and the couple divorced in 2011. Subsequently, he rekindled with his former girlfriend, the 55-year-old Hong Kong diva Faye Wong, with whom he continues to share a strong romantic bond.

“Customs Frontline,” which premiered in Hong Kong on July 5, portrays Tse and Hong Kong singer-actor Jacky Cheung—often dubbed the “God of Songs”—as two Hong Kong customs officers in a tight mentor-mentee relationship.
