A clash between two Singaporean tourists and a hotel security guard in Phuket, Thailand, resulted in all three men being hospitalized.
The incident took place last Thursday at the Patong Bay Residence Hotel after the Singaporeans allegedly tried to leave without paying their bills, according to Phuket News.
The security guard claimed that one of the tourists punched him first and then hit him with a bottle, leading the guard to fight back.
The tourists involved are reportedly aged 21 and 22. All three were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, as reported by Oriental Daily.
The investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
So far this year, Thailand has received over 21 million foreign tourists.
