Sonic becomes second official distributor in Việt Nam for Kaspersky

Kaspersky, the global cybersecurity and digital privacy company, has appointed Sonic Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company as its second distributor for the B2B segment in Việt Nam in line with its strategy to boost its growth in the country.

HCM CITY — Kaspersky, the global cybersecurity and digital privacy company, has appointed Sonic Technology Solutions Joint Stock Company as its second distributor for the B2B segment in Việt Nam in line with its strategy to boost its growth in the country.

The partnership is expected to enable Kaspersky to penetrate further and reinforce its mark in the enterprise market, where businesses, regardless of size, are increasingly seeking solutions to safeguard their digital assets and boost their cyber defenses.

“Việt Nam is the fastest growing digital economy in ASEAN, and with such acceleration, comes the need to build stronger and more comprehensive strategies for digital safety. Cyber threats continue to rise and evolve in complexity and sophistication. Cybersecurity measures are now critically essential for businesses to operate safely and securely,” said Yeo Siang Tiong, general manager for Southeast Asia of Kaspersky.

Kaspersky data showed that businesses in the country were the worst affected by cyber threats with 17.1 million incidents recorded in 2023. — VNS
