Gold Star Order presented to Party General Secretary

HÀ NỘI — The Party and State held a solemn ceremony at the Hà Nội-based Military Central Hospital 108 on Thursday afternoon to award the Gold Star Order to Party General Secretary Nguyễn Phú Trọng.

On behalf of Party and State leaders, Politburo member and President Tô Lâm announced the decision to confer the order on Party General Secretary Trọng and presented the Order to the Party chief.

The ceremony was attended by all members of the Political Bureau and the Party Central Committee’s Secretariat, officials who are assisting the Party General Secretary, and representatives of his family.

The decision to award the Gold Star Order, the highest honour of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, to Party General Secretary Trọng is the recognition of the Party, State and people for his great and exceptionally outstanding contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation. — VNS
