Coca-Cola launches community programmes

HCM CITY – Coca-Cola, through its partnership with the Vietnam Red Cross Society, is providing VNĐ5 million scholarship grants to around 100 secondary and high school students from pandemic-hit households in the province of Bình Phước and HCM City.

An additional 100 families will receive livelihood assistance.

On top of the scholarship and livelihood support, over 3,050 Coca-Cola Tết packages will be distributed to different communities working with the Women’s Union and the People’s Committees.

The company said that the package was the brand’s way of spreading cheer while making family gatherings and reunions more special.

Nguyễn Hải Anh, representative of the Vietnam Red Cross Society, said: “For 10 years of our partnership, Vietnam Red Cross Society has appreciated Coca-Cola’s strong efforts to support the community. As the country is gradually recovering from the pandemic, we endorse Coca-Cola’s initiatives to make a more positive impact on the community, physically and mentally.”

“Through the ‘Bring home the magic of Tết’ campaign, Coca-Cola has brought real magic to 100 students and 100 households by giving them more chances to improve their livelihoods and income after two challenging years.”
