A French passenger on a Vietnam Airlines flight from London to HCMC on Saturday had breathing difficulties, resulting in an emergency landing at Dubai airport.
The VN560 flight took off at around 5 p.m. (London time). About seven hours into the flight, flight attendants saw that a 36-year-old French passenger was having trouble breathing.
A doctor on the flight tried to help the passenger, but their condition did not improve. Following a discussion with a Vietnam Airlines operation center, the crew decided to land at an airport in Dubai at around 9 a.m. (local time).
The passenger was rushed to hospital. Their health is now stable.
The VN50 flight then re-fueled and continued its journey to HCMC. It landed at Tan Son Nhat Airport around five hours later than scheduled.
