Along To Huu Street in Nam Tu Liem District, people are still selling peach blossom and kumquat trees even as midnight approaches.

A kumquat seller said more trees are sold this year due to heightened demands. But as the number of trees available is high, many are still left unsold at several locations.

Small kumquat trees could be sold for up to VND300,000 ($12.79) on Friday, but their prices drop to VND80,000 by Saturday night.

Small branches of peach blossoms sold in Van Phuc Village of Ha Dong District were priced at around VND20,000 Saturday night.
