Former head of the government office Mai Tien Dung was recommended to be disciplined by the Central Inspection Commission of the Communist Party in a Thursday press release.
Also in the release, the Central Inspection Commission issued a warning for the Standing Party Committee of the Government Office and the Standing Party Committee of the Immigration Department under the Ministry of Public Security.
Dung, 64, has been a member of the Party Central Committee, chairman of the Ha Nam People’s Committee and the Party Secretary of Ha Nam. From April 2016 to April 2021, he had been the head of the government office, before retiring from his post.
