HÀ NỘI – A series of Xuân Quê Hương 2025 (Homeland Spring) programme will be held in Japan in January 2025.
It is the biggest cultural event held annually for overseas Vietnamese by Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs on the occasion of the Lunar New Year.
“We hope that organising the programme will promote the image of Việt Nam and its people to Japanese people,” said Việt Nam Consul General Vũ Chi Mai in Fukuoka Prefecture.
Xuân Quê Hương 2025 will be held by the Vietnamese Consulate General in Fukuoka, in collaboration with Vietnamese Association in Japan.
The event will take place from January 4 to 5 in Saitama Prefecture and in Fukuoka from January 10 to 12.
The highlight of the event will be two contests: Miss Culture – International Friendship and International Child Supermodel 2025.
“I believe that Homeland Spring 2025 will continue to attract a large number of Vietnamese community in Japan and international friends to participate,” said Nguyễn Mạnh Đông Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs.
In recent years, the Vietnamese community in Fukuoka has successfully organised programmes including the Miss Việt Nam – Japan Friendship and an Áo Dài Fashion Week. – VNS
