Wonder women

Since the end of the war about 800,000 tonnes of mines and bombs are estimated to remain on Việt Nam soil, claiming thousands of casualties every year. In hard-hit Quảng Trị Province, an all-woman bomb clearance team under project ‘Restoring the Environment and Neutralising the Effects of the War’ (RENEW) are putting their own lives at risk to keep the community safe.
