A family member of Alan Chong, the founder of Singapore-based engineering company Wah Loon Engineering, has sold a bungalow for $58 million.

The 15,000-square-feet (1,400-square-meter) estate, located in Jervois Hill, was sold by Chong’s daughter Eileen, according to The Straits Times.

She paid $41 million to acquire the bungalow in 2018 when it was newly built.

The buyer was Fuganto Widjaja, the executive chairman of Indonesian coal producer Golden Energy and Resources.

The property comprises two levels and a basement. It has five bedrooms with walk-in wardrobes and a guest bedroom.

Wah Loon Engineering was established in 1988 as an electrical engineering company and has since expanded to offer various services including mechanical engineering and fire safety system installation.
