VnExpress Marathon Ha Long spotlights tourist landmarks


11,000 runners set off Sunday morning on the 2022 VnExpress Marathon Amazing Halong traversing the town’s popular tourist attractions as they tested themselves against the elements.

Runners gathered for the 42-km run at 3 a.m. Sunday. Held for the first time in Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO heritage site, The 2022 VnExpress Marathon Amazing Ha Long received 11,000 registrations, making it the event’s biggest race ever.
For the full marathon race, the route wound its way through a coastal road by Ha Long Bay, famous as a natural wonder with limestone karst mountains rising out of emerald waters, the Bai Tho Bridge and Tuan Chau Island.
