Designer Le Thanh Hoa will present his new collection in April at a show called Resort 2023.
Hoa said the collection set to be released on April 6 continues to embrace high-end materials like silk, chiffon, taffeta, linen and organza, combined with a lighter and cooler palette such as white, nude, blue and pastel pink. Luxurious and youthful is the main theme of this show.
“I have been preparing for this show in a long time,” Hoa said. “What makes me happy is seeing my designs on stage and receiving recognition from the audience. This is a motivation for me to keep being creative and put more passion into fashion.”
A few designs of the new collection were revealed in the promotion photos for the show. The beauty of nature that was depicted in last year’s show Sa Vu continues to be developed. With a background of the sky and rock, the design stood out, showing great craftsmanship with hand-embroiled silk shirts and 3D flower appliqués.
Since the beginning of 2023, Hoa’s designs have been chosen by many international celebrities. At the recent Grammy Awards, singers Miranda Lambert, Jordan Chiles, and Sevyn Streeters showed up on the red carpet in gowns designed by Hoa.

At the beginning of February, Vietnamese-born TV host Jeannie Mai showed off her curves in a fishtail dress at an event in Atlanta, Georgia. At the 2023 Sundance Film Festival in January, actress Bella Thorne chose a see-through dress from Hoa’s Sa Vu collection.
Hoa, 38, has also designed outfits for many Vietnamese celebrities. His designs have been featured in domestic fashion events such as the Elle Show and Vietnam International Fashion Week.
