Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong will hold a fashion show at the University of Sydney in Australia in April.
The event is slated for April 22, with about 60 models set to strut down the runway with outfits from Cuong’s 2023 Spring/Summer collection of the fashion brand SIXDO.
The show is only for invited guests, and the designer will treat them to dinner after the show.
Pham Huy Can, CEO of SIXDO, went to Australia to scout out the site in January. He said that it took him and the school representatives six weeks to organize the event and that he will be holding a model casting there in March.

Cuong said that expanding SIXDO’s international presence is his top priority this year.
He previously organized shows in Los Angeles and in several Vietnamese locations, and also held a fashion show in Sydney in 2019.
The designer and his team are currently working on fine-tuning the show’s production, but they haven’t yet shared the concept for the next collection.
Can said that this show is part of the larger celebration of Vietnam and Australia’s 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations (1973 – 2023).
Cuong, 41, studied at the University of Industrial Fine Arts in Hanoi and pursued a degree in fashion in France.
