Vietnamese child models to kick start Thailand Fashion Week 2022

At the invitation of the President of Thailand Fashion Week, designer Le Tran Dac Ngoc has been tasked with opening Thailand Fashion Week 2022, taking place in Bangkok on June 30.

Ngoc said the designs are a blend between traditional national elements and contemporary arts of Vietnamese culture and other countries.

The collection includes eight costumes inspired by traditional art forms, including water puppetry and northern and southern folk music singing.

The other eight designs are evening gowns or suits inspired by cultures from other countries like Thailand, the U.S., France, Australia, Brazil, South Africa and Spain.

Ngoc said he wants to convey meaningful humanistic messages through the collection.

Thailand Fashion Week 2022 is one of the largest fashion events in Thailand, bringing together regional and international designers and thousands of fashionistas.

Previously, Ngoc had participated in other international fashion events like Malaysia Fashion Week 2018, London Fashion Week – House of Ikons 2019, Saint – Petersburg Kids Fashion Day, Vie Fashion Week 2019 (Dubai), Bangkok International Kids Fashion Show 2010, Luxury Brand Global Fashion Week (South Korea).
