Three people were injured in Ho Chi Minh City on Tuesday when a tanker truck rammed four motorbikes from behind at a red light.
At around 8 a.m., several motorbikes were stopped the Vo Tran Chi-The Lu intersection in Tan Nhut Commune in Binh Chanh District when a tanker truck was moving towards them from behind. The truck collided with four motorbikes, before hitting barricades on the side of the road.
Three people were injured and taken to the hospital. One motorbike was swept under the truck, while the others were knocked the side. All the bikes were damaged and debris was scattered everywhere.
The accident caused a traffic jam on Vo Tran Chi Street. Police were dispatched to the scene afterwards, and the involved vehicles were removed from traffic at around 11 a.m. to clear the road.
