TEKCOM, one of the first Vietnamese plywood manufacturers to be certified with AS 6669:2016 Certification, has expanded its high-quality formwork panels to the Australian and New Zealand markets.
On July 11, the company became one of the first plywood manufacturers in Vietnam to achieve AS 6669:2016 certification.
This certification, issued by CMI Certification, an organization based in Queensland, Australia, sets stringent technical requirements to ensure the quality and durability of formwork plywood used in construction, paving the way for TEKCOM and the plywood industry in Vietnam to expand their supply of high-quality formwork plywood to Australia and New Zealand.
In 2023, the company achieved significant success by meeting several prestigious international standards for product quality, environmental, and health safety, including the EPA/CARB P2/CANFER certification for controlling formaldehyde emissions, CE Marking certification for compliance with European standards, and FSC certification for the transparency and legality of the forest timber sourcing.
Additionally, as one of the only Vietnamese plywood manufacturers to obtain key standards such as ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, and TCVN 11205:2015, TEKCOM has consistently enhanced product quality with modern technology and advanced production processes, meeting the stringent standards of major markets such as Australia, the US, Europe, and India.
Founded in 2005, TEKCOM Corporation has established its lofty position in the wood industry and for related products in Vietnam.
With nearly 20 years of experience, the brand specializes in providing high-quality plywood solutions for the construction and architectural design industries, including construction plywood, interior plywood, and RTA kitchen cabinets.
Currently, it operates two modern factories in Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Binh Duong, covering a total area of 12 hectares with an annual capacity of 180,000 m3 and a workforce of over 1,000 employees.

TEKCOM’s production process is tightly controlled at every stage, from machine-drying veneer to ensure consistent quality before use, to producing its own MUF and PF adhesives in-house, guaranteeing product consistency throughout the manufacturing process.
TEKCOM also owns one of Vietnam’s largest multi-layer presses with 40 layers, allowing for high pressing capacity, and after pressing, the boards are sanded using a Japanese automatic line integrated with sensors to detect empty boards, ensuring quality control from the initial stages.

TEKCOM’s plywood products are utilized in many major construction projects worldwide, enhancing the reputation and brand of Vietnamese enterprises in the global construction industry and bringing the Vietnamese wood brand to new heights in the international market.
The company’s plywood has high durability, effectively resisting warping and cracking thanks to modern production technology and stringent processes.
Plywood is now becoming one of the top choices in the construction and interior design industries due to its benefits compared to traditional materials like MDF and HDF.
Using plywood typically helps save material costs due to its reusability and contributes to environmental protection, minimizing the impact on forests.
