Tech entrepreneur: My actress wife and I have overcome many obstacles

The tech entrepreneur compared his love story with Oanh to the plot of the drama series “Huong Vi Tinh Than” (Taste of Kinship), in which Oanh starred as the lead actress, during his speech at the couple’s engagement ceremony on Wednesday in the actress’ hometown Ha Nam.

“The foundation of our relationship is the feelings we have for each other and for our families,” he said. “We reached this happy ending after overcoming so many challenges and obstacles, which is really like the story in a drama.”

He added that a love story like that is an interesting experience for a man working in the field of technology like him. His wish was that his relationship with Oanh could last forever.

Oanh bursted into tears listening to what her now husband said.

Many relatives and close friends of Binh and Oanh were present at the party to cheer for the couple. Binh’s father sang a congratulatory song for his son and daughter-in-law.

The famous couple’s engagement ceremony ended with them getting into a car to go to Binh’s home in Hanoi.

Oanh was praised for her sense of style, which was showcased through the outfits she donned during the ceremony and the party decoration. Lotuses, her favorite flower, and bamboo were used as the main decoration items of the party, in addition to 600 tulips, roses, and orchids.

Oanh revealed that she planned to prioritize her family after marriage, in parallel with maintaining her fashion and real estate businesses. She will return to the screen if she finds a suitable project.

Oanh, 34, admitted to dating Binh, 43, last August, after photos of the couple circulated on social media.

Oanh is a renowned actress and has starred in several TV series. In 2018, she was nominated for the Vietnamese Golden Kite Award for Best Actress.

Binh is the founder of various tech startups, including Nexttech Group of Technopreneurs, which has been dubbed the “Alibaba of Vietnam” by the Chinese media. He joined Shark Tank Vietnam as one of the showcased investors in 2019.
