Immigration officers at Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport have arrested a Singaporean man for stealing 100,000 baht (US$2,900) from a German tourist at a hotel.

The arrest was made after officers received a complaint from a hotel employee in Pattaya, Thailand, on Monday, saying the Singaporean stole cash worth 100,000 baht, a laptop and a passport from a German guest, The Thaiger reported.

Officers discovered he was travelling to Don Mueang Airport to return to Singapore.

The same day, immigration officers managed to arrest the Singaporean. All of the stolen assets were seized and returned to the victim.
