At least two people were injured after a man opened fire at the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) office in Jakarta on May 2.
According to local media, the suspect was found dead at the scene.
Local police said that the suspect was Mustofa, who routinely delivered letters to the MUI. The shooter was a familiar person to people working in the building.
The police seized a gun at the scene. They are still conducting the scene investigation and questioning witnesses.
However, the motivation for the crime and whether the gunner is related to terrorist individuals and organizations remain unsure.
