Sacombank high rankings in reputable, effective, sustainable development lists

HCM CITY — Sacombank was named among the Top 50 Reputable and Effective Public Companies and Top 10 Prestigious Vietnamese Private Joint Stock Banks in 2024 by Vietnam Report Joint Stock Company on August 2.

On the same day Sacombank was also honoured at Nhịp Cầu Đầu Tư (Investment Bridge) magazine’s Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards, winning the award category of G – Leadership in the Corporate Governance.

The Top 50 Reputable and Effective Public Companies and Top 10 Prestigious Vietnamese Private Joint Stock Banks rankings aim to honour public companies that have a solid financial foundation, significant achievements in providing products and services to customers and create an impressive image.

The Top 10 Prestigious Vietnamese Private Joint Stock Banks list honours leading organisations in the finance and banking sector, which have been solid pillars of the economy during the recent uncertainties.

Sacombank has jumped 10 places from last year’s rankings of the Top 50 Reputable and Effective Public Companies, and to sixth from seventh place in the Top 10 Prestigious Vietnamese Private Joint Stock Banks rankings.

Being named in these two rankings for many consecutive years is a testament to Sacombank’s proactiveness in strengthening its competitive capability, capitalising on opportunities to realise business targets, and speeding up digital transformation, thereby consolidating its positive corporate image in the eyes of the public, shareholders, investors, etc.

The Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Award is given by Nhịp Cầu Đầu Tư magazine to promote sustainable development widely in the business community and society in general.

The award also acknowledges and honours companies across the foreign, listed and unlisted sectors that contribute to sustainable development, environmental friendliness and social equity.

Sacombank was honoured in the G category – Leadership in Corporate Governance for its corporate governance model built on international standards and norms.
