HÀ NỘI — President of the Cambodian People’s Party (CPP) Hun Sen on Saturday sent a message of congratulations to State President Tô Lâm on his election as General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee.

On behalf of the Cambodian People’s Party Central Committee, I express my joy and congratulations to Comrade Tô Lâm on your election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam at the meeting of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam on August 3, 2024.

Comrade Tô Lâm’s election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Việt Nam demonstrates the trust of the Communist Party of Việt Nam and the entire Vietnamese people in his capabilities and sound leadership.

I firmly believe that under Comrade Tô Lâm’s leadership, the Communist Party of Việt nam will continue to achieve its goals, ensure political stability and socio-economic development, and maintain peace, stability and prosperity of Việt Nam and the region as well.
