HÀ NỘI — The Prime Minister has recently issued an official document approving the Ministry of Justice’s proposal to expand the pilot programme for issuing judicial records through the VNeID application nationwide, from October 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025.

He has tasked various ministries and sectors with streamlining regulations and administrative procedures related to those records to ensure quality, efficiency, and timely implementation.

The Ministry of Justice will take the lead, while coordinating with the Ministry of Public Security and relevant localities to review, develop and issue procedures for issuing judicial records via the VNeID application, with completion due before October 1.

The Ministry of Public Security will take the lead in coordinating the development and issuance of guidelines for connecting the Provincial Administrative Procedure Resolution Information System with the VNeID application.

It will also work with localities to connect and provide public services for issuing judicial records through the VNeID application, with completion required by October 1.

Additionally, the Ministry will review and refine the software features, resolve any errors and ensure the VNeID application operates smoothly and is accessible 24/7 for online public services at ministries, sectors, and localities.

The Government leader has also assigned the Ministry of Finance to take the lead in coordinating the consideration of fee reductions to encourage individuals and organisations to use online public services and to address any difficulties, obstacles or inadequacies that may arise, with a deadline of December 31.

Provincial and city People’s Committees will implement the pilot programme for issuing judicial records through the VNeID application, review and improve the Provincial Administrative Procedure Resolution Information System to ensure synchronisation, connectivity and data sharing to facilitate the handling of administrative procedures. — VNS
