NFQ Group, a partner for digital business for customer worldwide, has continued its international expansion and gained a foothold in Africa by taking a majority stake in Cairo-based Dlivr.io.
The stake purchase is expected to boost NFQ’s portfolio of remote IT resources alongside established operations in Asia and Europe, and give it direct access to Africa’s highly-regarded resources of IT, e-commerce talent and expertise.
NFQ Group has operations in Germany, Lithuania, Poland, Egypt, Thailand & Vietnam. The merger with Dlivr.io LLC means NFQ Group now has more than 900 employees at 10 locations across three continents.
NFQ Group co-founder Lars Jankowfsky said: “I strongly believe that Vienam and Africa plays a vital role in the development of the worldwide IT ecosystem, and our new access to the continent’s depth of available talent brings great opportunities.”
“We chose Egypt to make our debut in Africa because the education, English skills and attitude of its software engineers are among the best we have seen worldwide,” Lars Jankowfsky added.
